History
Founded in 1996, my objective was and still is to improve the quality of training bartenders receive. Before Absolute bartending came along, the perception was that anyone who completed a bartending course was wasting their time and money. Mainly because the quality of those students was not acceptable. Once we opened our doors it took a couple of years for us to change their perception, and now we are the most recommended school in the industry.

Our teachers must have a minimum of 10 years bartending experience, a good reputation, able to communicate well and a passion for bartending.

We have been published in the Gazette, The Hour, made appearances on radio and CBC Television Living Montreal. We’ve been hired to train established bartenders in various clubs, bars and restaurants and competed in major events.

To be a teacher at Absolute bartending, it’s not enough to be a great bartender, you have to know how to teach and relate to the students.

Objective
Our objective is to provide our students with the ability, knowledge and the vital skills necessary to bartend at a high level. To build the students confidence and be able to compete with experienced bartenders. Upon completing the course, our graduates have the equivalent of two years experience, both in knowledge and ability.
